While you're at it, put the next CYC meeting on your calendar!  February 12th at noon in the boater's lounge will be the first official meeting for 2017.  Kelli will start accepting 2017 memberships at this meeting.

 

Well the river is going down and projected to be 41.4ft on Saturday.  It is a little better than last week, but we will still have to approach the docks from the B dock ramps.  We don't want to postpone the event again, so we are going to proceed with the plan. Knowing that everyone will have to trudge along a cooler and appetizer or dessert, it was decided to make this a less formal affair.  So come as you please and join the fun.  Party starts at 8PM in the boater's lounge​.​

The Ohio River is well above pool stage and although it is projected to crest tomorrow at 44.5ft, it will still be substantially elevated on Saturday.  Therefore, the Inaugural Ball has been moved to the snow/high water date voted on at the last meeting.

In my last email, I gave the wrong date for our next meeting.  The next CYC meeting will be February 12 at noon. This was voted on at our last meeting so there wasn't a conflict with Super Bowl parties.  Thanks Catherine for catching the error!  After the meeting we will have our annual Chili Cook Off.  Everyone is invited to bring their favorite chili for tasting.  The chili with the most votes wins.  Please bring a ladle for serving along with any fixings needed for your chili.  The CYC will supply bowls/cups, oyster crackers, spoons, and napkins.  Don't forget to bring a beverage to help cool your palate!
